Today was a very grey day but it was perfect to start a bit of gardening.
Its my favorite time of year when the rain brings all the colors of spring. The bright green of the new grass always brings a smile to my face. We are in need of lettuce and spinach (a daily staple in our diet) so time to plant!
I’m experimenting this year. Always looking for a short cut, I am direct sowing these carrots and putting some stretch tight over it for some protection. Lets see if it becomes compost or dinner!
My tiny Lulu loves to help me with even the simple task of inspecting our extra rocks and deciding where they should live. She is such a great companion!!!
